Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon 2025

April was Volunteer Appreciation Month, and at Saint Catherine Center, we couldn’t let it pass without recognizing the incredible individuals who give generously of their time and talents to support our mission. At Saint Catherine Center, our volunteers are an essential part of our community. Whether assisting in the classrooms, supporting events, or helping behind the scenes, their compassion and commitment make a lasting impact.
On April 23rd, we welcomed our dedicated volunteers to a special luncheon at the Center, a small gesture of thanks for the big difference they make in our community.
The event was a wonderful success, filled with gratitude. It was made even more meaningful by the active involvement of our students, who were eager to give back to the people who support and encourage them throughout the year. Our students took great pride in welcoming the volunteers and serving them drinks with bright smiles and helping hands. It was a joy to see the genuine connections and conversations shared around the tables as everyone enjoyed lunch together. After the meal, students brought out a selection of desserts and presented each volunteer with a handmade thank-you card and a special gift.
“Our volunteers make our mission come alive. We are so blessed to have such incredible people walking this journey with us,” said Laura Grozier, Executive Director.
The Volunteer Appreciation Lunch was a beautiful reminder of what makes Saint Catherine Center so special: a community rooted in kindness, inclusion, and shared purpose. We are deeply grateful for our volunteers and the joy, encouragement, and support they bring to our Center everyday.
