2008 Sailing into the Future

The annual Gala, “Sailing into the Future” was held at the Inn at Longshore in Westport on June 5, 2008. The event featured a traditional clambake, live music and silent and live auctions. Over one hundred and fifty people gathered to celebrate the mission and success of St. Catherine Academy.

The evening was highlighted by the recognition of Monsignor Robert Weiss and St. Rose of Lima Parish by Bishop William Lori. This is recognition for their support and dedication to St. Catherine Academy. Special thanks were also given to the event’s corporate sponsors, Commerce/TD Bank, Knights of Columbus, the Diocese of Bridgeport and Catholic Charities.

This event is an important fundraiser for St. Catherine Academy as it contributes over $80,000 in scholarship support for our students.
