Mass for People with Special Needs

On Sunday, October 19, Bishop Lori concelebrated a Mass in recognition of members of the diocese with special needs and their families. Holy Cross Church overflowed with people from all over the diocese. Saint Catherine Academy students led the singing throughout the Mass under the direction of Sr. Cheryl.

An educational forum was held following the Mass with displays of services offered throughout the region for disabled individuals and their families. Tours of St. Catherine Academy were provided and refreshments were served. All who attended agreed that this was a wonderful first event with hopes that it will become a tradition.
